Why Did Those Wonderful Priests and Nuns Never Mention This To Us?
Perhaps They Too Were Never Told?
For my fourteenth birthday (1959) I asked Mom and Dad for a Catholic Bible. Perhaps to them a rather strange request yet they seemed quite happy to grant my wish. Most Catholics known to me never read the bible. Surely we were no exception. Truthfully, I spent very little time reading it as I was far more interested in ice hockey, football and pretty girls!
About thirty years later, then in my mid forties, I actually began to study the New Testament. I was truly shocked. I became extremely concerned, especially for my own family back home. Perhaps most disturbing to me was that the actual teachings of Jesus and the Apostles were so totally opposite to what my Catholic church had led me to believe. I became so troubled by this that I feared that I might be headed for eternal damnation.
By attempting to establish my own righteousness, I had been following my Catholic traditions rather than following the actual teachings of Jesus himself!
I prayed to Jesus directly for the very first time, asked desperately for forgiveness and finally trusted Him alone for my eternal destination.
Over time, I began to notice that there were changes in my attitude toward spiritual matters in general. They were positive changes for sure. I began to find many things in the New Testament which boldly contradicted what the Nuns had taught us in grade school. For example, when I read the exact words of Jesus Himself say this: “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father but by me” (John 14:6)…I became extremely bothered. From that day forward I never prayed to Mary again. Also, I never again confessed my sins to a Priest. Both of these Catholic teachings seemed to me as a blatant violation of what Jesus himself had taught. What a complete fool I would be on my own day of judgment should I have continued in those Catholic practices …. especially in that I now knew the truth. (also see I Timothy 2:5)
The pages which follow outline a somewhat desperate attempt to alert my family and friends as to the actual warnings which Jesus had placed within his written word. These include:
(1) John 12:48, A most profound statement by Jesus Himself.
(2) Two opposing Curses
(3) The Warning for disobedience to his own gospel of free grace.
(II Thessalonians 1: 7,8 &9)
(4) Finally a special warning for all Catholic people to actually depart from the Roman Church. (Rev.l8:4)
Regarding the subject of salvation, I have read hundreds of various writings over the last few years. In all of them, I have never found the above four warnings presented in any way.
For this very reason, I decided to write the message that follows. Perhaps somewhat unique in presentation, I can only hope that it might help to shine a very bright light on a most wonderful gospel. A gospel as taught by Jesus Himself and not in Catholic catechisms.
The chief point of this writing focuses directly on the gospel of salvation. But first some thoughts on tradition.
So What About Tradition?
As Catholics we were taught to honor and even exalt TRADITION over Scripture, yet Christ expressly spoke against following the traditions of men. Jesus said this: “Why do ye also transgress the commandments of God by your traditions?” “Thus have ye made the commandments of God of none effect by your tradition!”
(Matthew 15: 3 & 6)
Jesus also said this: “In vain do they worship me teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandments of God, ye hold the traditions of men.” (Mark 7:8) In both statements, His commandments are violated by TRADITION.
Finally, the apostle Paul said this: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit; after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
Very clearly TRADITION will be a NON FACTOR on judgment day. The one and only standard of Christian faith is the word of God alone. Any and all tradition which disagrees with scripture is false, deceptive and soul destroying. Hence it might be said that while: Catholicism Faults Sola Sciptura… Jesus Christ Exalts Sola Scriptura!
Despite a vast multitude of Roman Catholic claims to the contrary, the final book of the Bible (Revelation) was written by the Apostle John in 96 AD (while exiled on the Isle of Patmos). This was more than two hundred years prior to this church ever coming into existence. Hence those claims which we were told about tradition being necessary before we actually had the Bible appear to be just that; more Catholic claims.
(1) JOHN 12:48 A Profound Statement
There is in the Gospel of John a statement made by Jesus himself: “He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall Judge him in the last Day.” (John 12: 48)
As I continued to read over that exact statement I began to seriously re-think about what the Nuns and Priests had taught us. Finally I concluded that every one of us would ultimately be judged based on the word of God alone. John 12:48 seemed to make that crystal clear. I simply no longer felt that I could trust what they had taught us, knowing full well that they too would be accountable to Jesus himself.
John 12:48 seemed to fully devastate any and all arguments regarding TRADITION. Virtually no other criteria would ever or could ever come into play.
It became increasingly clear to me that only God’s word as revealed throughout the scriptures would be the criteria for judgment. Any claim to suggest that this is not correct is essentially the claim that Jesus Christ is indeed a liar … and the deceptively false teachings of the Roman Church renders them to be a true champion of this very issue. All of the above brings us to the central point of the matter. THE GOSPEL!
The True Gospel: The Great Criteria
So just what is the actual true gospel according to the Holy Word of God? Well, here it is: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (1st Corinthians 15:3-4)
Think of that! “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures!” Even a five year old can understand that. This is the very heart of the Gospel. Honestly now, do you see works mentioned? Penance? Sacraments? Purgatory? None whatsoever!
So this is the gospel of (or criteria for) man’s everlasting eternal destination. In short, it is the ultimate gospel of Christianity! This standard set forth by God alone simply states and thus implies that the just shall live by faith!
In fact, this very standard is consistent throughout the entire Bible:
“The just shall live by faith” Habakkuk 2:4
“The just shall live by faith” Romans 1:17
“The just shall live by faith” Galatians 3: 11
“The just shall live by faith” Hebrews 10:38
Please notice that works are never mentioned. In Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, he describes salvation as being a free gift. In chapter five he uses the word “gift” six times. Three of those times he actually calls it a “free gift”.
Don’t you think he might be figuratively hitting us over the head with this very fact? If the recipient of a gift makes even the feeblest attempt to participate in the payment of that gift then guess what? The gift is no longer a gift. It is thus nullified! Every time I ever said those prescribed prayers of penance after confessions to the priest, I was in fact thumbing my nose at Jesus, of course not realizing this fact at that time! Every hope that I ever had in purgatory was hope that I did not have in Christ. Eternal damnation was at the end of my road and I didn’t even know it!!
The entire Canon of God’s Holy Word never claims anything even remotely close to a corrupt concept of faith plus works. This false doctrine taught by Roman Catholicism is in complete violation of the teachings of God’s Holy Word.
What Did Paul Teach?
Paul said this: “A man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law”- Romans 3:28. Paul also said: “for by grace are you saved through faith, and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Wow, to reject that gift is to reject Christ! This is exactly what that church had taught me to do in a most deceptive way.
So what does this really mean?
At the heart of the evangelical way of salvation is the very word ‘believe’. Simply stated, it is total faith and trust in the merits of Jesus alone. This word appears to be at the very center of the true Christian gospel of salvation. The dictionary says to Rely on, Depend on, to Trust 100% is to believe. This is exactly how we should consider the true merits of Christ’s all sufficient sacrifice at the cross of Calvary.
As a Roman Catholic the perception of the word ‘believe’ seemed to be a totally different concept. Simply stated it is basically to believe ABOUT Jesus and yet little more. Yes they teach on the need of faith yet their teaching is genuinely clouded with works of sacraments and self righteousness. Truly the outer wrappings of denial!!
Jesus never taught anything even remotely similar to the vast multitude of sacramental claims commonly advanced by Roman Catholicism. No prayers to Mary or dead saints. No confessions to the priests. No penance, no purgatory – the list goes on and on. Every insult advanced is true and genuine mockery of our Precious Savior.
How clever and cunning the influence of Satan himself has crept into these twisted and destructive teachings. We should remember above all that he is a destroyer and a liar! We all know of the trickery which he used to deceive Adam’s wife Eve. It seems that he is still up to his on going, soul damning dirty plots. His cults abound and of all of these, the Roman Catholic institution is perhaps his glorious masterpiece.
What Is A Cult?
A cult is basically any group that claims to be Christian or incorporates Christian terminology into its teaching, yet contains doctrines which contradict, add to or subtract from the Christian Bible. By this standard, Roman Catholicism is a textbook example of a genuine cult.
Cults also use mental and spiritual intimidation to keep their followers enslaved and Rome is very well schooled in those techniques.
Back To The Salvation Issue
While the true Christian position on salvation is based solely on faith alone, the Roman Catholic position holds that salvation is to depend on the use of sacraments and one’s own good deeds. Just imagine how outrageously insulting this is to Jesus the Savior and the judge of all mankind who will have countless millions of souls before him, claiming to have done penance and who went to their grave holding on to the soul damning belief that they would ultimately pay (in part) for their sins in a non-existent place called purgatory. This phony doctrine was never taught by Christ. It is truly a denial of Christ’s finished work at the cross. The purging of sin according to God’s Holy Word is done in this life and not after death. It most surely is not done by fire or with masses paid for by well-intending Catholics.
For as the scriptures declare: “Without shedding of blood there is no remission.” (Hebrews 9:22)
It seems incomprehensible when one really considers the matter to imagine standing before the Savior of the universe and then to admit to him that a priest was actually paid by check or cash for masses which would supposedly reduce one’s time in purgatory. They render Jesus insufficient.
The entire matter is so truly absurd and overall a ridiculously horrible insult to Almighty God.
So Why All This Discussion Anyway?
This discussion in essence is nothing short of an attempted comparison between two opposing systems. One system emphasizes sacraments, penance and works. The other system stresses trust and faith alone as the road to salvation. These two methods are in complete contradiction, one to the other. They are indeed mutually exclusive. One points toward the only way to eternal life; while the other is a blasphemous denial of God’s true gospel…the ultimate destiny is eternal damnation.
Paul Belts A Gospel Home Run
In his epistle to the Galatians, this Apostle stresses the gospel of Christ in a most emphatic way.
He wrote this: “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Galatians 2:16
(2) Two Opposing Curses
A true dilemma for every Roman Catholic
If you the reader are in fact a Roman Catholic, This is where you really need to pay attention. No doubt, you have never been advised as to the soul damning dilemma which you presently face. Ignorance will not be acceptable on the day of judgment if you have already decided to follow the gospel of Rome.
The Catholic Curse Is This
“If any man shall say that justifying faith is simply trust in the divine mercy, remitting sin for Christ – or that it is by faith that we are justified, let him be accursed.” Roman Catholic Catechism (Counsel of Trent)
This curse is a most blatant denial of the true Gospel as taught by the Apostles!
The Curse of God Is This
“But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8
“As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:9)
This curse of God applies to virtually every pope, every priest, every nun and every devout Roman Catholic.
Caught Between The Rock And A Hard Place
(A genuine dilemma indeed)
Is this truly where you presently are? Literally under two opposing curses? Talk about being between a rock and a hard place! This is the real thing for sure. One is the curse of Satan and the other is the curse of Almighty God. Well lets take this apart:
First The Hard Place
Pretty simple I think. The hard place is a permanent destination of torment, flames, worms, stench, screaming and forever unending misery. For sure you get the picture.
And Now — The Rock
God’s Great Warning
Especially To All Roman Catholics
The true gospel of God states that “…Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures” (1st Corinthians 15: 3-4)
Thus implied in that very fact is that the just shall live by faith alone! Catholicism had taught me to add works which constitutes violent disobedience to the true gospel of faith only. As for this disobedience, Rome stands guilty. Everlasting punishment is promised. Yes, I too was headed for this destruction. How could I not? I was living my life in total denial of the true gospel as taught by the Apostles. By adding works, I was trying to help pay for what Jesus had already provided.
Well here is that warning by the Apostle Paul which pertains to this very disobedience:
(3) The Warning
“The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power.”
( II Thessalonians 1:7, 8 & 9)
Very Clearly, Catholicism had taught me to “obey not” the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ! Eternal Damnation was on my very own horizon!
More on The Rock
Throughout the entire Bible, Jesus is Always, Always the Rock.
But first, contrary to Catholic teachings, Peter was never the Rock. In fact, Peter was the Apostle to the Jews — not the Gentiles. Until his death, there is no scriptural evidence to support Peter as having ever been in Rome. None! Paul was the Apostle to the gentiles, not Peter.
In Matthew 16:19, Peter is given the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. In verse 18, Jesus points to Peter and then (as if back to himself) says “upon this rock I will build my church.” Jesus is always the Rock — not Peter.
Two chapters later in Matthew 18:18, Jesus conveys to all of the Apostles the very same authority. A small fact they forgot to tell us back in that religion class.
By the way, back over in Matthew 16 (when Jesus was conversing with Peter) do you happen to know the very next words Jesus said to Peter? Well, here they are:
“But he turned and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me Satan: Thou art an offence unto me”. (Matthew 16:23).
One could hardly perceive those words to be praise or encouragement for Peter’s supposed nomination by God to be the first Pope of Rome!
Back To The Rock
Throughout scripture, there are many places which refer to Jesus as the Rock. Here are just a few:
I) and the Rock was Christ (1st Corinthians 10:4)
2)He only is my Rock and my salvation Psalm 61: 2 & 3)
3)But the Lord is my defense; and my God is the Rock of my refuge. (Psalm 94 : 22)
4)The Lord is my Rock and my strength and my Savior (II Kings 22 : 2)
5)Finally this verse by Peter himself:
“…The stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the Head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offense even to them which stumble at the word.”
(1st Peter 2:7-8)
Indeed this Catholic church has caused her people to stumble at the Word and thereby caused them not to believe. They have achieved this very end thru repeated claims of insistence that Peter himself was the chief cornerstone of their Roman church.
The Body of Christ
In contrast to all of those catholic teachings, the true church of God has no formal structure at all. It is called “The Body of Christ”. It is in fact a LIVING ORGANIC body of true spirit filled believers from across the span of ages.
There are no altars with tabernacles. There are no male and female costumes. They pray to and believe in Christ alone as mediator between them and God the Father. When they receive Jesus and truly trust him through faith alone, they in fact become “Born Again” and are thus truly saved. They no longer pray to Mary or confess their sins to a priest. “…for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
(1Timothy 2:5) They trust this fact to be true and thus pray to him alone. They never again believe that the unbiblical Eucharist bread becomes God. They no longer pray their rosary beads … “in vain repetitions as the heathen do”. (Mathew 6:7) Normally those beads hit the trash cans as they lift their hands on high.
At last they are free from the bondage of horrid deception. They finally (by invitation) have received God thru faith and faith alone. For as John has clearly stated “God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24) NOT THE EUCHARIST!
As for that invitation just mentioned, our creator, savior and judge is most truly a loving, caring God. He is a Gentleman of the highest degree.
One can only imagine the tears of genuine love when John wrote these words of invitation out there on that lonely, barren island of Patmos in 96 AD. Notice his caring tender manner.
“Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him and he with me.” (Rev.3:20)
Spoken by Jesus the King of Kings
Wow, think of these words of Jesus just spoken. He created us all with free choice to receive Him thru faith or to deny Him as so many will do. Yet he still waits with loving hope, and here today the door still remains open. Eventually it will be shut just as He did with the door of the Ark.
What a glorious, loving and tender invitation. I can only hope that you might respond as I did.
What About Those Scriptures Opposing Salvation By Faith Alone?
Well, actually there is only genuine harmony within the Word of God. However, two seemingly contradictory statements come to mind. The first of these appears in the epistle to the Philippians where Paul states: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Phil 2:12). A closer look here reveals that these people at Philippi were already saved! Paul refers to them as “you of salvation” Phil 1:28). Here Paul is telling them that if they work out and manifest the new life divinely worked in them, that they will live their lives worthy of the gospel. Notice that Paul did not say for them to work ”for” their salvation as they already had possession of it!
The second seemingly contradictory statement (of justification by faith alone) appears in the book of James, son of Mary and Joseph. In the statement that James makes, he says most emphatically that Faith without works is dead. (James 2: 20)
Paul and James were devoted friends and coworkers. They both endorsed each others work. James was writing his epistle to those who had accepted Paul’s doctrine of justification by faith alone but were not living right. He was simply stating that faith must demonstrate itself as real, which is to say faith that works! Certainly this was in no way a contradiction of Paul’s teaching.
No true Christian will disagree with James in saying that faith without works is dead – as works for them are never for salvation, but because of it!
As this message winds its way toward a conclusion, this writer can only wonder as to what your perceptions might be?Misguided, hateful, delusional, mean spirited
or even Catholic basher are thoughts which come to mind. Perhaps a more tender or gentle approach could have been used. Yet because of the very fact that eternal salvation is the central issue at hand, the extreme importance of this matter can not be overlooked. It is for this reason that a tiptoe approach was determined as not acceptable.
The harsh criticism which has been presented is leveled squarely at the Roman institution itself, and never toward those very special people who belong to this church.
(4) A SPECIAL WARNING
This warning reads as follows: “Come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4) These plagues can only refer to eternal damnation. Revelation 17 and 18 deal exclusively with the Roman Catholic church.
In Revelation 17, God actually calls it a notorious prostitute or harlot…which is quite possibly the ultimate pinnacle of Catholic bashing…Spoken by God himself! Pretty hard for this writer to top that!
John Chapter Three
The Must Read “Born Again” Chapter
John 3:16 reads: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth IN him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:18 reads: “He that believeth ON him is not condemned…”
These two verses contain two critical statements which are Believe IN and Believe ON. Their true meaning can only be as stated before, which is to rely on, to depend on, to trust 100%. This is true Christianity.
On the other hand, to simply believe ABOUT Jesus and ABOUT those sacraments which Catholicism claims you must do … this is not the will of God the Father!
So just what is the will of the Father? It is John 6:40, which reads: “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 12:48 One Last Visit
The very words in that scripture are profoundly shocking to say the very least. So to repeat that verse once more “…the word that I have spoken the same shall judge him in the last day.”
These very words of Jesus turn the false teachings of Rome completely on end! On that final day of judgment the only criteria will be the Word of God alone!
The definition of a cult was taken from the Christian Defender Magazine. There are no other footnotes apart from Scripture itself. Some of the following, however, was taken from a local church hymnal.
How to become a Christian (Choosing the Rock)
1. God Loves You. Because of God’s Love for all Persons. He desires that you have unbroken fellowship with him. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5)
2. You are a sinner. All persons are sinners in that they disobey God. Sin is choosing to go your own way and do your own thing as opposed to being obedient to God. (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10)
3. Sin separates you from God. Sin forms a barrier that prevents you from entering into unbroken fellowship with God. You are headed for a Christ less eternity that the Bible calls hell.
(Isaiah 53:2; Romans 3:23)
4. You can’t save yourself. People often think through their efforts they can overcome the sin barrier between themselves and God. This isn’t true. There’s nothing you can do to restore the broken relationship with God. You can’t earn God’s salvation. Also remember that purgatory, prayers of penance and the rosary ALL DENY the sufficiency of Jesus and thus HIS gospel. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5)
5. God sent His son Jesus to remove the sin barrier. The death on the cross of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, removed the sin barrier between you and God. Jesus died for your sins, taking your punishment on himself. God did for you in Jesus Christ what you couldn’t do for yourself. (Peter 2:24; Romans 5:8; Corinthians 5:21)
6. You can receive Jesus Christ through faith. Faith is trusting in what Jesus has done for you rather than trusting your own efforts to restore fellowship with God. Faith also involves repentance or genuine sorrow for sin and willingness to turn away from sin. (John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10)
7. Through prayer you can trust in Jesus Christ. Admit to God that you are a sinner. Express sorrow or repentance for your sinfulness. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Invite Jesus into your life as Savior and Lord. Remember this verse: “For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.” (1stTimothy2:5)
Also this verse: “I am the way, the truth and the life; No man cometh unto the father, but by me”(Jesus) (John 14:6) True Christians never have to confess their sins to a priest. They never pray to Mary, NEVER. They Pray to Jesus alone.
Pray to Jesus, in your own words, perhaps a prayer like this:
Dear Jesus, thank you for showing me about the false gospel of Roman Catholicism. I reject it. I accept your sacrifice as all sufficient. I invite you to come into my life as savior and my Lord. I trust your free gift of eternal life.
When I came to this last page, those very words of Jesus in John 12:48 continued to echo in my heart and my mind. “…the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” As young Catholics, we were never told that…NEVER!
The burden for my very own family and friends was extraordinary and continues. The heartfelt anguish over this remains as a profound driving force in my life.
Regarding my final conclusion, there was virtually no way to dance around this, so here it is … Roman Catholicism is truly one of the greatest frauds perpetuated on all of humanity. Millions upon millions are condemned to hell. All are deceived by adding works of SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS to God’s free gospel of grace. It is a subtle and cunning denial of God’s very own gospel. Yes, it truly is a gospel of eternal damnation!
“Not by works of Righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” (Titus 3:5)
Quite obviously, Roman Catholicism fully ignores that last verse along with many others. Deceptive denial is truly the defining red flag.
John 12:48 provides crystal clear proof that Jesus will never tolerate any compromise to his very own gospel of free grace.
All that remains at this point is the decision which only you can make. Ultimately, however, this must occur. It is my genuine and prayerful hope that today will be that day
Recommended (must read) New Testament books:
John, Romans, Galatians and Hebrews
After first writing this booklet, there were many positive responses. There was one, however, which seemed far less than encouraging. It reads as follows: “I appreciate your concern but I am not changing… maybe you should start reading the church Fathers who were there long before Mr. Luther and the rest of the anti Catholic gang.”
Previously the argument of TRADITION was constantly tossed at me. Because of this, I had decided to answer that very objection by quoting Jesus himself within the first two pages of this booklet…and so there was only silence, at least from the TRADITION standpoint.
But now it seems to be the Church Fathers whom I must now begin to study! What a dilemma.
But Whose Dilemma Is This?
Actually, the person who wrote “I am not changing” is the one with the truly soul damning dilemma! John 12:48 completely destroys this “church father” objection. When Jesus said this: “The Word that I have spoken”, He was clearly stating that our final judgment would be based on scripture alone. In a very deceptive, round about way, Roman Catholicism boldly proclaims that what Jesus said is simply not true. He is all but called a liar
…So As For Those Church Fathers,
please consider this: Beyond the writers of the New Testament, there was never any Church Father who ever wrote even one word of scripture. Not one word. Absolutely None!
So let’s sum this up:
1) Jesus completely rules out Tradition, as shown on the first two pages.
2) Jesus also completely rules out any and all Church Fathers in John 12:48. This includes all Catholic Popes. Please go back and read it.
…And As For Anti Catholic Bashers
(Every gang has a Leader)
Actually, the very head of this Anti Catholic crew is none other than Jesus himself. Yes indeed Jesus himself reigns as Supreme Commander of the Catholic Bashing Gang. His wonderful New Testament rips gaping holes and truly shreds the entire Roman Catholic Deception! His written word is truly a glorious beacon of truth.
Please pray for this special person (who represents many caught in a web of bondage) who defiantly chooses to remain under the very curse of God. Eternal damnation continues to loom on their roadway ahead.
“Then Peter and the other Apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men.”
